Mission Education

Our Education Philosophy

Education is essential to the quality of healthcare and the quality of life of people with chronic urticaria and their relatives. Better knowledge and understanding of one’s health status, one’s rights as a patient and as a citizen, enables one to make informed choices in partnership with clinicians, and to better understand and follow treatment plans.

Our Commitment

This education section is created and distributed with a view to making content accessible, understandable and relevant in each of Canada’s official languages. We are committed to ensuring that our content meets the following criteria:

  • Scientific rigor: content is evidence-based and up-to-date.
  • Cultural sensitivity: content is presented in accessible language, using appropriate images and symbols.
  • Accessibility: content is available online only and in text, video, photo or infographic formats.
  • Applicability: content is developed in partnership with patients, patient associations and clinical experts to ensure relevance.

The Chronic Urticaria team presents here the educational resources prepared for you by our partners. Don’t hesitate to visit their websites to find out more.
